Join in a lively debate on the role of the media in understanding health issues, with a panel of invited guests from the worlds of journalism, academia and public health advocacy.
You will have the opportunity to put your questions to the panel and explore a range of opinions on the impact of health issues and related research as reported by the media.
Confirmed panel members so far include: Clint Witchalls (Health Editor of The Conversation) Helen Puttick (Health Editor of The Times), Dr Shona Hilton (Deputy Director of the MRC/CSO Social and Public Health Sciences Unit) and Professor Linda Bauld (Professor of Health Policy). The discussion will be moderated by Pennie Taylor, a freelance journalist and broadcaster who specialises in health matters.
